David Solis-Cohen

Principal

David Solis-Cohen is a Principal of Lubert-Adler based in the New York office and is primarily responsible for sourcing and underwriting new investments. Mr. Solis-Cohen has more than twenty-five years of experience in the real estate industry.

Prior to joining Lubert-Adler, Mr. Solis-Cohen was an Executive Director in the Real Estate Investment Management Group at Morgan Stanley primarily responsible for acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Solis-Cohen was a Managing Director and Head of the Northeast Region with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments with responsibility for all acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage lending and asset management activities. Prior to that, he was a Principal and National Head of Acquisitions for The Yarmouth Group. Mr. Solis-Cohen has had direct and/or oversight responsibility for more than $7 billion of real estate acquisitions during his career to date.

Currently, Mr. Solis-Cohen is an Executive Committee Member and past Curriculum Committee Chair of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center of The Wharton School, a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on a number of non-profit boards including The St. Aloysius School in Central Harlem, The Keewaydin Foundation and The American Jewish Society for Service.

Mr. Solis-Cohen holds an M.B.A. with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A., cum laude, in American History from the University of Pennsylvania.
